THE ONLY EVENT DEDICATED TO MOUNTAIN TROOPS AND EXTREME COLD WEATHER OPERATIONS

The international Mountain Troops community comes together in Grenoble, France, on 10 and 11 February 2027 for the SITM.

The mountain troops community encompasses units from all over the world. The Mountain Troops community brings together units from across the world. The 27th Mountain Infantry Brigade maintains strong relationships with its partners within the Alpine region (Germany, Switzerland and Italy), across Northern and Eastern Europe (Norway, Finland, Georgia, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Spain, etc.), as well as with forces operating in extreme environments in the Middle East and North America (Jordan, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates and Canada).

This operational cooperation promotes the sharing of expertise, joint training activities and the continuous enhancement of capabilities in environments where technical proficiency is essential.
